Cozy Brick Paver Patio Installation in Livonia, MI

There's nothing better than enjoying a nice fire with your friends and family on a summer evening! For this project we built a brick paver patio in Livonia, MI. We incorporated in the design a built in fire pit along with a seating wall and 2 pillars to create a functional space for entertaining guests by the fire. The pavers installed on this brick patio are Unilock Hollandstone 4x8 in the granite color along with a charcoal border. For the fire pit, wall and pillars we installed the Unilock Brussels Dimensional block in limestone blend and capped it with midnight charcoal. Our clients here in Livonia were looking to create a space to have fires and entertain their guests, so we went to the drawing board and came up with this concept. They were thrilled with the end result of this brick patio. Over the years we have built many brick paver patios in the Livonia area, but this one we will always remember as having the hardest clay to excavate. The digging on this project took twice as long as a typical excavation. After some hard work we were able to dig down to our desired depth and continue on with prepping the base.
